Group Membership Fees & PoliciesGroup Membership Levels and Fee Structure
Group Membership Policies and Procedures
- An organization/tribunal can sign up their members/staff through the BCCAT Group Membership Option under one of the 6 levels (A – F).
- BCCAT will invoice the group/organization/tribunal for the associated group membership fee. BCCAT can administratively only handle one payment for the group fee.
- The group must advise BCCAT of the names of their members who will be joining through the group membership, so that we can match the membership forms to the group membership. Each member must complete and return to BCCAT a membership form containing their contact information.
- BCCAT can only sign up one group for each organization or tribunal.
- The organization/tribunal may at any time upgrade their group membership to the next level – should they need to sign up more members then permitted under the level in which they first joined. (E.g. if paid $100 to sign up under Group Option A and then wanted to exceed 9 members, they may upgrade to Option B by paying the difference of $150).
- If an organization/tribunal has elected a Group Option but decides not to upgrade to the next membership level, additional members of that organization/tribunal can also join BCCAT individually. So, if an organization signed up under one Group Option and has a few new members that exceed the limit, subsequent members could join individually at $30 each.
- If an organization/tribunal joins under group membership, they can sign up additional members later in the year (without further fees – as long as they don’t exceed the maximum for that level).
- If a member (of an organization/tribunal that has joined under group
membership) discontinues their membership with BCCAT during that year, BCCAT
will not be able to credit that spot to allow another member to join in their
place. However, additional members may join if there is still room within the
maximum for that group option level.
