Committees
Education Committee
Steers and manages the development and running of BCCAT’s courses, workshops and custom training, including:
- Develops marketing plans for course offerings;
- Develops strategic plans for new course offerings for Board approval;
- Ensures sufficient supply of trained course instructors;
- Develops and upgrades course content;
- Manages relationship with clients for custom courses;
- Manages BCCAT’s relationship with the Vancouver Community College, who delivers registration and class room services for course offerings.

Nominating Committee
Attracts nominations to the Board of Directors at BCCAT’s Annual General Meeting and seeks replacements for any vacancies during the year. May solicit membership for BCCAT committees.

Membership Committee
Develops and implements marketing strategies to expand BCCAT’s membership, including:
- Explores new membership structures and polices for Board approval;
- Acts as a conduit for feedback from BCCAT members to the Board of Directors on level of satisfaction with their membership;
- Assists in securing new committee members.
Publication and Communication Committee
Ensures the membership is kept informed of BCCAT's activities and issues related to administrative law by:
- Prepares BCCAT’s semi-annual newsletter for the membership, including soliciting and editing editorial content;
- Maintains and enhances BCCAT’s website;
- Develop communications and publications strategies which support BCCAT strategic and marketing plans.
Policy and Research Committee
Researches and Develops policy content for the Board on over-arching sector issues, including:
- Policy papers on issues such as effectiveness and fairness in the administrative justice system;
- Conflict of interest and conduct guidelines;
- Independence and accountability of tribunals.
Acts as the Board’s liaison with Government policy departments on administrative justice issues. Recommends to the Board policy responses to issues affecting the administrative justice sector
Annual Conference Committee
Plans and manages BCCAT’s annual education conference.
